Hours & Admission

The Lincoln Children's Zoo is open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily between April 15-October 15 each year.
Explore then Zoo in the evening during Wild Wednesdays (June-August) when the Zoo is open until 8 p.m.

The Zoo is open every holiday during the Zoo season. On June 11 the Zoo closes at 3 p.m. for our annual Garden Party fundraiser. On July 4 the Zoo closes at 3 p.m.

One or two seat strollers are available for rent. Wheelchairs are available at no charge. Visit the Zoo's Front Gate or Gift Shop counters for assistance. All are available on a first come basis.

Guided tours can be arranged to focus on any aspect of the Zoo of your interest. Learn more about what tour option is best for you.

Group Rates

If you'll be attending the Zoo with a party of 30 or more people you qualify for discounted group pricing. Admission prices are discounted $2. To receive this rate, you must contact  visitor services staff in advance at 402.475.6741, ext. 132.

Train and Pony Rides
Riding a pony or the train is a great way to learn firsthand at the Zoo. These rides are available every day during regular Zoo hours (weather permitting). Sales tax is additional.
